The Jacksonville Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), was Florida’s first chapter founded in 1895.

DAR is a women’s service organization dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, patriotism. As one of the most inclusive lineage societies in the country DAR boasts over 190,000 members in chapters across the United States and internationally.
